She Can Do It

Shad Foundation just hosted an incredible event called “She Can Do It” to celebrate International Women’s Day, and it was a huge success!
Female students, showcased their skills and talents through skits, speeches, songs, presentations, and poetry, highlighting the critical role of women in society.
The event also included a panel discussion featuring prominent female entrepreneurs and experts sharing their experiences and insights into women’s empowerment. There were food stalls featuring local Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral dishes, and women who run online shops selling dresses, gemstones, and handicrafts also participated and set up their stalls at the event.
To top it off, emerging singer Noorima from Gulmit Gojal gave a surprise performance, and trophies were presented to the winners of table tennis, badminton, and volleyball teams in the Sports Gala arranged by SHAD Foundation.
“We believe that events such as ‘She Can Do It’ play a vital role in fostering an environment where women can confidently pursue their dreams and achieve their goals. We hope to continue organizing such events to inspire and empower more women in the future,”.
SHAD Foundation is committed to empowering women and promoting youth development, and we couldn’t be more proud of all the participants who showcased their skills and talents at this incredible event.
We are grateful to our partner organizations, Forum for Language Initiatives, Helping Funds Foundation, Hashoo Foundation, and Dastak Foundation, for their unwavering support of our projects for women’s empowerment.
Let’s keep celebrating women and their incredible potential to achieve greatness in all fields of life!
